You know, people have asked me before if I would do it again, if I could go back and decide without my youth and stupidity and vanity blinding my decisions. I've had such wonderful experiences, seen such beauty, in the time I've lived, that I can't bring myself to say I wish I hadn't been alive for it. But I'd rather have been human for it. To have been in the sunlight and not have to have blood to survive."
