Kersen knew that he shouldn't, he really did. But he wanted to bite Klaus; wanted the taste of more blood in his mouth, and he wanted to give Klaus whatever he wanted, do what he was told.

Klaus had gotten into a good position, too. So even with Kersen's wrists still pinned above his head, he was able to shift his body and turn his head so that he could sink his fangs into klaus' throat.
