Kersen smiled at him, and stayed there just being held for a moment.
Though he was hungry, and he knew that he would only get more hungry. Dealing with it now was better than waking up in the middle of the night ravenous with a warm body next to him.
"I hate to leave you," he said softly, "but I'll be back in just a few minutes. Do you need anything from the kitchen? Water?"
